How do I get from the airport to the apartment?
All our apartments are in the city centre, and you have 3 ways
of getting there:
1.By Train. When you arrive in the arrivals
lounge there are signs to the train station. The station is reached
via an overhead walkway located just outside the terminal entrance.
Trains leave at '13 and '43 minutes past the hour until 23.40, all
taking the same route into Barcelona stopping at Barcelona Sants,
Placa de Catalunya, Arc de Triomf and Clot.
2. By Taxi. Barcelona's distinctive black and
yellow licensed cabs are usually in thankful abundance in ranks
outside the terminals. You may have to queue but this normally moves
very quickly. Expect to pay between €30 and €40 into central Barcelona.
Taxis usually charge extra for luggage.
3. By Aerobus. There is a regular bus service
outside each terminal at Barcelona Airport. Weekdays buses leave
every 15 minutes from 06:45 until 23:00 and weekends and holidays
they leave every 30 minutes. The Aerobus stops at Plaza Espanya,
Gran Via, Passeig de Gracia, Placa Universitat and Plaza Catalunya.
The journey into central Barcelona takes about 30 minutes and a
one way ticket costs about 4€.
Please, don’t forget to call us from the airport as soon
as you collect your luggage and are about to board the bus or taxi.
What is the time difference for Spain?
You can find the information here.
We suggest to our clients to carry valuable documentation,
creditcards, money, etc, in a money belt or something similar, as
purse snatchers are too common in this city, specially in the tourist
areas. Make photocopies of your passport or ID and carry this around
with you instead.
